Wedding Cakes
Whether your wedding is large or small, traditional or modern, I can design a cake that reflects your personal style and incorporates your wedding theme and colors. I work with you to make sure your vision is achieved while keeping within your cake budget. And most importantly, your cake will taste AMAZING!
Tasting Appointment and Consultation
If you would like to learn more about booking me for your cake, I will set up an appointment with you for a tasting and consultation. At the tasting, we will work out the design of your cake(s), decide how much cake you will need, determine costs, and of course sample cake, fillings, and frostings! A tasting is $10 for two people and this cost is deducted from your cake total when you decide to book with me. Each additional “taster” is $7 and is not deducted from the total.
Questions you should have answered BEFORE you schedule an appointment with me for a tasting:
1) When is the wedding? Whether your celebration is grand or intimate, to order a cake you must have a set date so I can block out that day just for you and your cake.
2) What is the budget? It is a good idea before ordering the cake to sit down with your fiance and/or parents and decide how much you can afford to spend on cake at your wedding. If you are on a tight budget, I can offer various options on how you can have a delicious, beautiful cake that will accommodate your budget.
3) How many pieces of wedding cake will you need? A simple formula to help you determine the probable number of guests who will be having a slice of your wedding cake is: For a full dinner or buffet in addition to cake – total your invitations and reduce that number by 25% (this takes into account that not every single person will attend and not every person will eat cake; For a cake and punch reception - order cake for the entire guest list. Your entire wedding cake will be served at your wedding; if you would like cake to save for your anniversary, you will need to order more cake.
4) What flavors are essential? Before your tasting, browse the cake flavors and cupcake flavors pages and write down flavors you would like to try. Be sure to ask your fiance for his opinion as well!
5) What is the style or mood of the wedding? I encourage you to bring in pictures of cakes you like, swatches of fabric, flowers, a picture of the bride’s dress and/or bride’s maid’s dresses, colors you are using, or anything that you think will inspire the design of your cake!
Prices**
My cakes are priced as follows: 
Buttercream cakes start at $1.50 per serving
Tiered buttercream cakes start at $1.75 per serving
Fondant covered cakes start at $2.50 per serving
Tiered fondant cakes start at $2.75 per serving
Carved cakes start at $2.50 per serving; fondant covered carved cakes start at $3.50 per serving
Cupcakes start at $10/dozen for plain and $12/dozen for filled
The serving sizes for weddings are 1”x2”x4”high pieces of cake, including the sheet cakes (two sheet cakes stacked to be 4” with filling in between). If you would like larger pieces of cake served, you will need to order more cake.
**Prices subject to change at any time without notice. If you have already booked your wedding (after the tasting appointment), you will be locked in at that price even if my prices go up (so it is to your advantage to book early!).
 A 25% down payment is required at the time of booking to secure the date. Remaining balance is due the day of the wedding. An equipment deposit may be charged - your deposit will be mailed to you upon return of materials. For many of my stacked cake designs, I use a cake stacking system from Cake Stackers. It is easy to use and guaranteed to hold the cake without tipping, slipping, or falling! For more information about the system I use, go to their website at CakeStackers.com.

Gumpaste Flowers and Decorations
Handmade gumpaste flowers and decorations are one of my specialties – I love making them look as realistic as possible! When considering whether to use sugar flowers or real flowers on your cake, remember that not all fresh flowers are food safe; some are toxic and should never come into contact with cake. Gumpaste flowers can be colored any way you like to fit your wedding style and colors, and they can be embellished with edible pearls and sugar gems. I do arrange fresh flowers on the cake for free during cake delivery and set up. I will order fresh flowers for the cake if you wish, but I will order them from a designated florist of my choice. If you wish to order from another florist for a different price, you will need to contact that florist and place your order.
Groom’s Cakes
I can create a special one-of-a-kind cake you won’t find anywhere else for the groom. From poker tables with edible cards, pool tables with cupcake pool balls, ball caps, beer cans, cowboy hats, and much more! During your consultation appointment, we can design a cake your groom will love and stays within your budget.
